      Hispanic lives are cheap.

@LuFins-Dad, why do you expect a riot in this case?

The officer fired 3 times to kill the attacker, and one of those bullets went through the dressing room wall. A tragedy, and the mother's screams immediately after the shooting are haunting, btw. Also, the dude had a bike chain as his weapon...unless the cops didn't know that, they should've just bum rushed the dude instead of opening fire. We need to bring back the good old bum rush technique.

In the video I saw the attacker was fleeing the police, not attacking anyone. He was a good 30 feet away from the officer. It may be incomplete, but I saw no reason for him to fire his weapon.

The video I saw the cops approached the section of the store where the man was and there was a woman (bleeding from the head) who had just been hit by the attacker. The cop (who shot) turned the corner of the aisle and saw the attacker at the other end, and fired 3 shots, killing the attacker (and the girl on the other side of the wall). Honestly, I don't have an issue with the shooting decision... I'm just curious if they knew it was just a bike chain. And no, @Aqua-Letifer or @Klaus , I don't care which type of chain.

Almost a sure thing it's 3/32. But if it was from a BMX or a fixie, could've been 1/8.

                Please love yourself.

It was a bike lock, not a chain.

That said, if somebody would beat me with a bike chain, I would insist on at least a 12 speed chain and, if possible at all, made by Campagnolo.

He used to just put a belt, a stick, and a wrench on the kitchen table and say, 'Choose'

Sad video. Obvious the guy are doing the drugs or alcohol or just crazy. I agree with 89, probably the correct response, but a sad outcome for the young girl.
