Will the red pepper flakes make it spicy (Mrs. George doesn't like spicy, sigh)?

It won’t be very spicy, just a little flavor. I put that much on three pieces of pizza.

You could omit without penalty. Might get some Aleppo pepper which is nowhere near the heat but good flavor.
