      You need a shop.

None in my area. Could work, I guess?

I've seen guys do some amazing stuff in little shops no bigger than a decent sized storage building...

              +1 👍
Just be careful to not knock a water pipe loose when taking the bike and other things in and out of that place.

I can now clearly see the path you've taken.

You went from a road bike with front and rear mech and 22 gears or so to a "front single" bike with rear mech only, then went single speed, and now we finally view the logical endpoint: The zero speed balance bike with neither gears nor brakes! I like it! Looks like a steel frame. Not the most aerodynamic design, but I can see many advantages. Very low maintenance!

                    Random thoughts:

The plugs for the dust system seem a pain in the ass. Install some more piping and use blast gates.

                    The cleat system is great.

Drill press in the corner? Hope you’re not using any stock longer than about 3 feet, LOL.

The t-track system is great as well.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I figure he can move that benchtop stuff around as he needs to, even outside.

                        😆

Actually, the one in the stand is a Fuji Track: O.G. SINGLESPEED! I can go faster on average on it than my eBike, as I've mentioned before. Still can't figure out how. You're right, it's not a dream bike for the aero nerd, but singlespeed riding is a little different. Say goodbye to maintaining a cadence, coasting is often necessary, and hills require some serious arm strength in addition to thunderous thigh pistons. 😄

I have a 'cross bike that's a 1x, which I plan on fixing up next. (Needs a new rear derailleur.)

My wife's got a bitchin' class 3 eBike; my class 1 can't keep up with it.

                        Please love yourself.

Hot damn, that's definitely making the most out of a limited space.
