I wanted to know the dates involved.
I found this story repeated, with variations, in many places.
Most of the stories spell his name with an s on the end: Tolotos
This oldest date of his death that I found was October 1938.
That helps the story that he never saw an airplane.
Apparently he died at age 82, 83 years ago.
