In his recent article, "'Critical race theory' is a fairytale — but America's monsters are real," Devega insists that CRT is a lie, a damn lie, and suggests everyday white folks are "doing the work of racism and white supremacy" by "[s]upporting Republican fascists who tell evil fairytales about 'Critical Race Theory.'"

Someone to whom all issues boil down to race. The ideology behind leftist politics is in fact "race essentialism". Leftist individuals have more or less awareness of this fact, but the person being described in the piece as a race essentialist, Chauncey Devega, is an avowed race essentialist, as a quick google of his name will show.
