We went in Columbus yesterday. Quite impressive, if you like Van Gogh (which I do). One thing I can tell you is the guys who put this together definitely have experience with psychedelics. All the images moved and morphed into others.

Lots of pics if you know me on FB. Here's a couple short videos and a few pics.

      Wow.

Yep, I'd love to go in various alternative mental states.

      Please love yourself.

THat's neat stuff, to be sure.

But, do you think it's faithful to Van Gogh's original?

Would it be more impressive to look at the original, albeit small, work rather than something that's "immersive?"

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

That was exactly what I was thinking.

That thought occurred to me, as I have done so in several museums, including Chicago's Vann Goh/Gaugin exhibit. But you were able to get up so close to his brushstrokes and colors that it adds another level of appreciation. It's a worthwhile interpretation.

These are wonderful; thanks for posting them.

I especially love seeing the people there, observing the work. They add a life dimension somehow.
