The Van Gogh Immersive exhibit

We went in Columbus yesterday. Quite impressive, if you like Van Gogh (which I do). One thing I can tell you is the guys who put this together definitely have experience with psychedelics. All the images moved and morphed into others.

But, do you think it's faithful to Van Gogh's original?
Would it be more impressive to look at the original, albeit small, work rather than something that's "immersive?"
That thought occurred to me, as I have done so in several museums, including Chicago's Vann Goh/Gaugin exhibit. But you were able to get up so close to his brushstrokes and colors that it adds another level of appreciation. It's a worthwhile interpretation.
