But here's what I don't get. For 1950 feet it's a regular ladder, and then, it's the little stubby foot/arm holds. And the little stubby foot/arm holds have just a little button to keep the carabiner from slipping off.

Just watching it is sphincter-tightening (and no, I didn't watch the whole thing).

At least you can still tighten it.....

(Believe I have mentioned this before, but anyway... LOL)

On a similar subject, if you have not seen it, I recommend the movie "Free Solo" about a guy who climbs El Capitan rock face ("3200 feet of sheer granite") with no safety gear.

What the video didn't show was that he got all the way to the top and then realised he'd brought an imperial wrench, and the fitting was metric, so he had to decide whether to climb back down for the correct tool, or just try and bodge it.

Back in the day, you used to be able to walk outside on the top of the World Trade Center. I saw where he wrote his autograph on the side of the tower after the Walk. This is no longer visible.

Standing there imagining would make a anyone nauseous.

Time to nip this in the bud...

I've met @bachophile a couple of times, and I never found him nauseous, even though he said something made him that way.

Casually, it is probably OK to use both words to mean feeling ill. However, in more formal situations, use each word correctly.

OK, it's after 6, therefore a formal situation, where is my tie?
