Yeah, that's what I thought after browsing online. Housing appears pretty affordable, too....

"One of the great things about living in New Brunswick is the low cost of living. More so than other provinces in Canada, New Brunswick is perfect for a family to relocate to because it is so affordable to live there. ... Apart from having well-priced real estate, Canadian essentials are also much cheaper in New Brunswick."

Careful - you might have to kiss the cod. Not sure how far south that goes.

Well, Nova Scotia is to the east, and if their forebears are anything to go by, there might exist the love that dare not bleat its naaaaaame.

More than twice the snowfall of Boston. Three times in some places.

I'm thinking about maybe a few years from now. The winters wouldn't be great, admittedly, but the summers would probably be nicer.

Good choice. Never been to NB but have heard only good things about the place. We have always been curious about PEI. Bought an acre on the Okanagan Lake near Vernon BC six years ago. Have been using the place to pitch a tent during summer vacations ever since. Makes a nice little camping spot. Place damn near burned this summer in the White Rock Lake fire in August. Missed our lot by about hundred yards or so. Not sure whether we’ll ever develop it. Contrary to popular belief B.C. does not stand for British Columbia. Rather it stands for Bring Cash.

I've never been myself, but I've always liked the people I've met from there.
It's definitely a "good part" of Canada.

Beautiful country... one of my good friends has an orchard near the lake in Penticton.

Some of largest tides in the world are in the Bay of Fundy, 52 ft versus the world average of 3 ft.

Spent a few days in Come By Chance Newfoundland a few years ago, which is "kind of" in the area.
Very pretty and I remember that you could go down to the pier and get a lobster dinner for super super cheap price.
