Canned chili without beans is pretty tasty stuff. Wolf, Hormel.... pretty good. And easy.

That's one of my stand-byes if we run out of proper food. I generally end up being shunned by the rest of the family an hour or so later.

      I was only joking

@george-k Wolf is good, but it barely qualifies as a chili. When I use it, I add a bunch of chili powder and cumin and a quarter teaspoon of sugar to give it some life.

As for Hormel, in my partying days Hormel chili over spaghetti and then a bunch of cheddar cheese on top was my hangover go-to food.

              Now that sounds promising.

I'll put it on my shopping list!

Then you basically ate Cincinnati chili.

And if you keep back half of the can for Mrs. G before you add the extras, it'll work for her too!

Nope. "Chili" is not in her vocabulary.

                        Brown food.

Google "Cicero, Illinois" and you'll learn all you need to know.

No sauce, well-done meat (preferably dry), shaved ham, burgers (well-done of course), spuds.

No casseroles, no fish...I could go on.
