I don't think the Dems will run her. Too polarizing, too little accomplishment at the border. Cory Booker is more likely.

Nice tone, but that's about it.

          True.

But at least mental decline hasn't set in, yet.

At https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/politics/democratic-party-presidential-nominee-odds/ is a list of possible Democratic candidates with their nominee odds. Biden is at the top, then Harris. Then Elizabeth Warren, then Michelle Obama. Further down is, wait for it, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez -- which, though farcical, is not surprising, though I'd have thought even that shark would've had the grace to wait for a bit more maturity.

Anyway, unless a sleeper emerges, and we can always hope, the Democratic field looks pretty hopeless.

She would turn 35 only a few months before taking office. I checked because I figured she's too young to even run in 2024, but I was (barely) wrong.

@89th She's too everything else though -- stupid, annoying, oblivious, short.

I wasn't thinking of chron age when I wrote that. Something more epiphanous, more wisdom-ish, as unlikely as that is.

Come on, 89th, tell me the mental image of AOC sitting at the Resolute desk doesn't fill you with the cauld grue.

She already reminds me of a "let a student be president representative for a day" case gone bad, couldn't imagine her even getting close to the oval office.

Once upon a time I had the same thought about another presidential candidate. I don't have that thought anymore.
