He's a one trick pony
One trick is all that horse can do
he does one trick only
It's the principal source of his revenue
And when he steps into the spotlight
You can feel the heat of his heart
Come rising throughSee how he dances
See how he loops from side to side
See how he prances
The way his hooves just seem to glide
He's just a one trick pony (that's all he is)
But he turns that trick with prideHe makes it look so easy
He looks so clean
He moves like God's
Immaculate machine
He makes me think about
All of these extra movements I make
And all of this herky-jerky motion
And the bag of tricks it takes
To get me through my working day
One-trick ponyHe's a one trick pony
He either fails or he succeeds
He gives his testimony
Then he relaxes in the weeds
He's got one trick to last a lifetime
But that's all a pony needs
(that's all he needs)
He looks so easy
He looks so clean
He moves like God's
Immaculate machine
He makes me think about
All of these extra movements I make
And all of this herky-jerky motion
And the bag of tricks it takes
To get me through my working dayOne-trick pony, one trick pony
One-trick pony, one trick pony
One-trick pony (take me for a ride)

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...
People can, and do, get quite sick with COVID even after vaccination. This therapy does seem to work for a lot of people.
And we better pursue more and better therapies, seeing as how Mu says to the vaccine.

I despair about the fact that medical treatment has become so politicised.

But nobody finds anything hypocritical about people turning down the vaccine jumping all over the Regeneron treatment? It’s on an emergency approval, they are genetically engineered, there are no long term studies for potential side effects 30 years from now, and so on.
Personally, I think that it’s because the overriding thought in antivax people is “It won’t happen to me, and if it does then I will be fine”. Once you take away the the first part and they actually have COVID, the odds of being fine look a lot smaller…

Politics makes us stupid.

Desperate times breed desperate measures....

No right-thinking person would accept a treatment touted by Mr. Trump.
Well, he pushed the development of the vaccines, and plenty of his own folks are refusing to take those.
Mr. Trump controls the behavior of most people in this country, but not all.
Mr. Fauci controls a small minority.
