Come on, man, do your research! The Daily Wire is a conservative rag. Check it against WaPo:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/covid-monoclonal-abbott/2021/08/19/a39a0b5e-0029-11ec-a664-4f6de3e17ff0_story.html

“I want everybody to know about this. I’m telling people that I know that are older. I’m saying, ‘If you get exposed, you need to talk to your doctor about it.’ ”

Erin McCreary, director of stewardship innovation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which has treated 3,427 patients with the drugs since Dec. 9: “It is absolutely the standard of care for covid-19,” she said. “It is my hope that clinics know that.”

“The monoclonal antibodies work. They are safe, they’re free, they keep people out of the hospital, and help keep them alive,” Marcella Nunez-Smith, chair of the government’s COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force, said at a briefing Aug. 12.

Now, as to the Daily Wire's point about the administration:

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, maker of the only authorized, free monoclonal antibodies, said it is reaching fewer than 30 percent of eligible patients, up from fewer than 5 percent a month ago.

In interviews, experts cited a federal government that has not done enough to promote monoclonal antibodies alongside vaccines; logistical issues that can make delivery of the drugs complicated and costly for medical facilities; and the difficulties the pandemic presents for providers of all kinds of medical care.

Always pay attention to something WaPo and Daily Wire agree on.

    Please love yourself.

      Why should I dig?

So far, you're competent and the cost is within budget.

Yeah, why bother? Particularly as any time spent looking into it would break into valuable time that could otherwise be spent complaining about liberal media bias.

          Why bother?

Because the initial article confirms something I already know. We routinely give the drug down here, along with BAM therapy.

I don't remember the Resident putting much emphasis on the therapy at all.

              He's a one trick pony
One trick is all that horse can do
              he does one trick only
It's the principal source of his revenue
And when he steps into the spotlight
You can feel the heat of his heart
              Come rising through

              See how he dances
See how he loops from side to side
              See how he prances
The way his hooves just seem to glide
He's just a one trick pony (that's all he is)
But he turns that trick with pride

He makes it look so easy
              He looks so clean
              He moves like God's
              Immaculate machine
              He makes me think about
All of these extra movements I make
And all of this herky-jerky motion
And the bag of tricks it takes
To get me through my working day
              One-trick pony

              He's a one trick pony
He either fails or he succeeds
              He gives his testimony
Then he relaxes in the weeds
He's got one trick to last a lifetime
But that's all a pony needs
              (that's all he needs)
              He looks so easy
              He looks so clean
              He moves like God's
              Immaculate machine
              He makes me think about

And the bag of tricks it takes
To get me through my working day

              One-trick pony, one trick pony
              One-trick pony, one trick pony
One-trick pony (take me for a ride)
              One trick pony

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...

People can, and do, get quite sick with COVID even after vaccination. This therapy does seem to work for a lot of people.

And we better pursue more and better therapies, seeing as how Mu says 🖕 to the vaccine.

But nobody finds anything hypocritical about people turning down the vaccine jumping all over the Regeneron treatment? It’s on an emergency approval, they are genetically engineered, there are no long term studies for potential side effects 30 years from now, and so on.

Personally, I think that it’s because the overriding thought in antivax people is “It won’t happen to me, and if it does then I will be fine”. Once you take away the the first part and they actually have COVID, the odds of being fine look a lot smaller…

As soon as Mr. Trump called Monoclonal antibody treatment a cure it was doomed.

No right-thinking person would accept a treatment touted by Mr. Trump.

                          No way
