....I got a request to do an on-site inspection of one of these....
I had to turn it down, as I haven't got a bloody clue about this stuff. It broke my heart....

Had a business partner who could do that. He would go in and start babbling what I knew to be utter bollocks but he had everyone else bamboozled and unwilling to say whether he was a genius or a babbling idiot.

Yeah, I worked with somebody like that back in the UK. It's kind of fun to watch. He went on to win a Queen's Award for Enterprise
I'm not sure I could wangle this one. My current employer is a little more conservative in outlook.
