Copper is still king, btw. Montana Resources is making a butte-ton of money grinding up the mountains on the edge of town.

Other than my travels via Amtrak through the width of Montana, I have few memories of the state. The last time I was really there was when I was about 18 years old, when I traveled to Glacier with my parents on a trip from Chicago.
It's a grand, magnificent part of the country.
The first time I rode the train through North Dakota, I was amazed at how boring it was. Ditto Montana.
Every trip since then, and there have been, I think 5, has revealed that these barren places (especially eastern Montana) have an unparalleled beauty. Every time I travel, I think of what Lewis and Clark must've thought as they approached - huge seas of prarie, with a wall of mountains in the distance to the West.
Love Montana.

Watching that video....including the guy who has to put on a hazmat suit and crawl through attics cleaning up old toxic dust... makes me very much appreciate my current job.
