More restrictions. Masks. Boosters.
The troublesome thing is that Israel had one of the most successful vaccination records in the planet, and now, it seems they're worried.

More like cautious.

It seems to me that cautious is good. I'd certainly get a booster if offered, and I'm thinking about wearing a mask again when I go shopping.

We wear masks when shopping again now, at least if the store is moderately crowded. That being said, we were unmasked in a crowded circus tent 2 days ago, and we all know the vaccine reception in the circus community...

If the Delta variant is as transmissible as chickenpox, which some at the CDC have suggested, it's more a matter of when and how bad, rather than if.
Masks or no masks.

That's not really a good reason not to wear the mask. I mean, we don't really know how effective they are, but if they help slow things down, and if it could reduce the risk of hospitals being overwhelmed, it's worth it. Same thing goes for the partially-effective vaccinations. Even if all they do is slow it down and/or make the disease less dangerous, why wouldn't you do it?
The thing that's always aggravated me about people who refuse to wear masks is they're just looking for an excuse. All this bullshit about them causing CO poisoning, or 'IT'S A FACT THEY DON'T WORK', or 'they're infringing on my liberty', is really just a justification to not do something because it's a bit of a nuisance.
And no, I don't always wear one either. The last month or so I've pretty much stopped, but it's looking like we might need to go back.

Sure. It's easy to overestimate the 'logic' that goes into anybody's choice not to mask or not to vaccinate. If pressed, they'll probably give a reason that sounds a little bit like logic, but they probably really just don't feel like it. That's why I don't think anti-vax or anti-mask messaging is the bogeyman here.
Education is extremely important.

Outside of Covid, anti-vax is clearly driving a number of decisions, since not having your children vaccinated really requires a fair amount of effort if you want them to attend public school.
Of course, if you never take your kids for medical checks anyway, there may be more going on.

I wear a mask to gain access to a place where they are required, no other reason.
I have natural covid anti-bodies and both shots. I doubt the mask does anything for me other than get me access.
