This is on some basic cable channel.
What a mess.
Terrible acting, pandering to the slow-wink "I know what you're talking about" crowd, boring music, and totally obvious special effects. I caught it about 45 minutes in and gave up after another 10 minutes.
I saw the preceding film in the theater, years ago and it was, well, it was okay. Not great. This is a disaster. I imagine the final movie is even worse.
It's really pathetic what they've done to the franchise.

The best Star Wars stuff nowadays are the computer games. Some of them are just great fun.

Oddly enough, my son spent today at Galaxy’s Edge in Anaheim. He is an even bigger kid than me.

No way, the best Star Wars movie is Phineas and Ferb Star Wars, find it on Disney+.

Prior to having my son I had only seen the first two and had no interest in the others.
