Not even sure what we are debating here. I’m against gay marriage and other “rights” generally associated with the LGBT culture, I’d imagine very similar to how Kirk opposed it too. That being said, I’d imagine one reason he was shot was because of his anti-trans arguments, since the shooter was a trans-loving gay man himself, so I agree that gross characterizations are dangerous.

@LuFins-Dad I get what you are saying. We went back to tenting about ten years ago after almost twenty years of a truck camper. There was an adjustment involved that took a week or so. Still, I am content with tenting and the additional effort it takes to make a proper weather ready camp. I was lucky, I learned those skills as a kid from my father.

Just watched Moonlight. You may recall it dramatically one best picture after an incorrect announcement was made. The film is set in three acts, the acting is terrific throughout, but the first act for me was the best, the other two acts were a bit on stall mode… a decent movie that was made in a way that almost required it to be a best picture nominee, but not one I’ll watch again.

Should have been mentioned then. I think it would appropriate to inform that the man had tried and used all available options.
