Ever since "The Americans" Kari Russell...
And, the fantastic Rufus Sewell.
I don't remember much of season 1, so I binged through the first two episodes (at 1.5 speed) today. Subtitles help, of course.
Other stars: Allison Janney and Michael McKeon.
It's good. REALLY good. International diplomacy, spies, murders, and tons of intrigue. It's gotten very good reviews.

The Sandbaggers is a British spy thriller television series created by Ian Mackintosh, about men and women on the front lines of the Cold War. Set contemporaneously with its original broadcast on ITV from 1978 to 1980, The Sandbaggers examines the effect of espionage on the personal and professional lives of British intelligence officers and their American colleagues.
On Amazon Prime.
Each episode stands alone, and is about 50 minutes. If you're not up for a long binge of a 8-10 hour story, this might fit the bill I watched one on Tuesday, and another episode yesterday. Very British, very late 1970s vibe.

Sandbaggers is very good. Its depiction of spy stuff is very John LeCarre-like. No glamor, just quiet work, budgetary and personal problems.
Episodes are available on YouTube. Check it out. Once you get past the late 1970s vibe, it's fun.

Speaking of British shows, I'm currently watching Season 1 of this and enjoying it enormously.
Not to be taken too seriously. A little reminscent of Luther, if you've seen that.

Just watched The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, about a British special op during WW-II.
Not sure where it’s streaming, I just caught it on JetBlue.
Fun and entertaining, I highly recommend.

You’d love this George. As would most everyone here.

Watching a Canadian show from 2012 called Continuum. It's about some folks who time travel from 2077 back to 2012. There's a "protector" (policewoman) who is tracking a group who were slated for execution for crimes against the state. It's a 3+ star series (46 episodes) - worth binging - lots of twists.
