very artsy, pointless
Exactly. Each episode has some of that dreamy stuff. I mean, how many times can we watch Carm put some unknown herb on a tiny piece of meat...with tweezers.
The best episode of the season was the one which shows Tina's backstory. The worst was the one which shows Natalie in labor.
By the way, Colman's restaurant, "Ever," is a real thing.

Watched Luther: Fallen Sun. It takes itself seriously, but gets so ridiculous it took me out of it sometimes. It got reasonably good reviews, which surprised me. It's probably better than most of what's made these days. 60 year old Andy Serkis played a character that the movie tells you with a straight face is "in his 40s". Nope, doesn't look like it, not even close.

@George-K were watching the Tina episode now. I think you liked it because it had Italian beef.
Of course.
But it's one of the few episodes this season that told us something we didn't know ... restauranting is hard, food is fancy, etc.
Good to see David Zayas again.
Wait till Natalie goes into labor.

Been watching ‘Suits’. The plot elements are a bit repetitive and the writers are lazy AF but Mayla likes it and it somehow manages to stay entertaining.
Not the best endorsement, I realize.

Suits is TV popcorn. It got a little weird at times...like

click to showBut can you watch it not thinking about Markhle being the Duchess (or whatever she is)?
There used to be a Twitter (Facebook?) user who used the name "Gabriel Macht's Mole."

Re her, not at first but now I can.

Just finished The Bear S3. Artful, but did not move the story along at all. Lots of character exposition, but truly artful writers do that in the context of the story. 400 wasted minutes to beat me over the head with things I pretty much already knew. Jamie Lee Curtis should get an Emmy for her work.

Yeah, but one gets tired of all the "artful" stuff after about 2 episodes.
Curtis was great, but what was the point of that episode? A potential reconciliation?

I've just finished Moon Knight on Disney +. One of the better things from Marvel. Apart from anything else, an interesting take on mental illness/multiple personality disorder.

Enjoying (?) season 2 of "Interview with the Vampire."
Read the 1st book about a year ago, and really enjoyed season 1.
Season 2's premise has a much stronger presence of Daniel Malloy (the Interviewer) and many, many flashbacks.
I'm finding the "Claudia" sub-plot tiresome so far.
The over-powering presence of Lestat is great.
Great production values (costumes, sets, and post WWII Paris) and the acting is fun. "Santiago" comes off as menacing as I remember him in the book.
Link to videoAs "artsy" as "The Bear" is, much of the artsy-fartsy stuff is mindless filler. In "Interview" it's just as artsy, but every inclusion of the artsy stuff moves the story.
Very well done, so far - I have 3 episodes to go.
