Yes, it was brilliant. One of the most rewarding episodes ever of any show.

Foundation S2 this Friday.
I'll wait until all episodes are available then binge away.
Speaking of binging...
Finished "The Bear." Exceptional.
Wanted to start "The Lincoln Lawyer," then I realized, I'd forgotten just about everything from Season 1. So, I started from the beginning.
It's good, but not quite "Bosch" good. I know, Harry and Mickey are half-brothers....

Clint Eastwood's character in the movie "Blood Work" knows Bosch, too. Just read the book involving them both.

Hmm. Did not know that.

Just finished "The Glory" another Korean drama.
Link to videoGood, but very dark. A girl while in HS undergoes some very serious and horrific bullying. 18 years later, she plots her revenge.
Quite engaging, but no way a "feel good" type of show.

Just watch Strange New Worlds S2E3. Thought it was going to be a tired rehash but it turned out to be very very good.

Getting ready to start Lincoln Lawyer S2.
Binged through the 2nd half over the last couple of days. A very different tone than "Bosch." It's a bit lighter. Still enjoyable, other than the obnoxious music.
The interplay between Haller and his ex-wife(s) is fun.
What the second season did well was to plant the seed of "there's something wrong with the woman accused of murder" thinking in your head. It all comes to fruition in the last episode.
A fun watch for those who like courtroom shit.

We're enjoying it. Yeah, the chef is somehow amiss.
Lioness has potential. We'll see. Foundation S2 is OK.

We are enjoying Silo. Good production values and so far, an engaging storyline.

I enjoyed as well. There are some...interesting...deviations from the book. And, at least half the book covers what happens after the season finale. I suppose I should queue up the rest of the book series.
Fun trivia: In one of the scenes, security (?) is organizing a bunch of people, telling them where to move, etc. One of the leaders calls out, "Hey, Howey! Put that over there!"
The author of the books is Hugh Howey.

Good Omens, season 2 on Amazon.
The first season was great, and this one is very funny too. Michael Sheen and David Tennent are a great double-act.

Seen on another forum:
"Watched the newest episode of Strange New Worlds. Strange is correct - okay more like stupid. The Enterprise is caught in some sort of "spatial anomaly" that makes the crew sing and dance around the ship. Soon it spreads to other ships in the area. Toward the end of the episode there were even singing and dancing Klingons on one of their ships bent on destroying the anomaly to avenge their "dishonor."
They missed the opportunity to have Spock sing "Scarborough Fair" to presage the episode from the original series, though.
Oh boy, talk about a waste of time. Only watch this one (episode 9) if you want to see just how bad a Star Trek episode can be."
Makes me want to skip this season.

Binged thru...
Overall impression - very well done. Classic Trek technobabble is there, and I hate alternative universe/time-travel stuff as Trek does it.
Those criticisms aside (and I won't discuss the "musical" episode) it managed to capture the spirit of TOS without the heavy-handedness of "Discovery". Pike is credible as captain, and a bit less light-hearted than in Season 1.
Sadly, it ends on a real cliffhanger, with many of the crew missing or dead?
But, we get to see the Gorn, for real this time.
And the show does a tip of the hat to "Alien."
Yeah, that's a Gorn.
Oh, the "Singing Klingons?" Here you go. You can skip Episode 9. It adds nothing to the arc or character development. Just avoid it.

Painkiller. (Netflix)
On one hand it’s a little too over the top dramatization, in order to to make it a compelling series. On the other hand, I honestly did not know how OxyContin was pushed in such an overtly reckless manner
This did not happen here, even though OxyContin is available as a pain killer for oncology patients, so it was a bit jarring to see.
BTW, Tel Aviv medical school, of which I am a professor in the surgery department, removed the sackler name from the medical school. I’ve never used that name in any of my official titles. What an embarrassment.

Watched the first of three last night. Quite a nice look at his career in the late 50's and 60's
I've always been a fan of his playing and composing - he very much went his own way.

Lioness. Pretty good.
Justified City Primeval just doesn’t have the charm or wit of the original.
STSNW seems to be falling apart later in S2. I just turned off the episode where they mix in the animated series. Ugh.

It's OK. Not the best, and it gets a bit silly at the end. It could have been a better story in 5 episodes. By the way "Lioness" was a real CIA program. Not as depicted in the series, but...

Been tempted, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

It sort of redeems itself later in the season. Give it a chance.
