Thanks for the recommendation. Is he still an ass on this show?
He's still very much Jeremy Clarkson, but not nearly as much of an ass as normal - he needs to get a lot of help from the locals. I suspect he's more being himself than he is on Top Gear.

Is this the post where "twat" is appropriate?

It's worth watching just for Gerald in episode 2.

Just finished "Back to 1989", a Taiwan romantic comedy. It is about a guy who accidentally goes back to 1989, the year before he was born. He grew up never knowing who his father was, and his mother never spoke of him. She seemed bitter and unhappy since he has been growing up.
So, of course where he ends up in 1989, he meets his mother, etc.
Definitely not a classic, but a fun watch. I give it a "thumbs up"

Indeed. I watched it this afternoon. Mutton....
I turned on subtitles, and it still didn't make any sense.
Clarkson's GF seems to be kind of teh hawt. What's she doing hanging out with this guy
whose net worth is $60 million? -

Clarkson's Farm on Amazon.
Jeremy Clarkson has owned a farm since 2008. Now he's decided to run it. The first episode was interesting, and funny.
He's hopelessly out of his depth, but is getting a fair bit of help from people who aren't.
Incidentally, my paternal Uncle lives about 20 minutes from Clarkson - I haven't seen him since my brother's christening in 1966. Family argument.
Clarkson delivers a lamb.
"C'mon sheep!"
"I did a thing!"
"Look at that, no epidural, no shouting 'ow, ow, ow,' no yelling 'I hate you!'"

Back on topic, we are watching Departure, 3 nights on Syfy. Pretty good story.

Really enjoying, and it's simple enough to understand by a moron like me.
Yeah...don't overdo it.
The lecturer is good, and he explains things very clearly. However, if you do more than 4 lectures in a day (about 2 hours) your brain will start to hurt.

Just finished the first season of Katla. A little slow at times, kind of creepy, but the story was interesting, kind of unexpected, and the scenery/cinematography was fascinating. You can watch it in English, they do a good job with the dubbing.
Been watching DCI Banks and I can’t believe they just killed off my favorite character!
