What's on TV?

"Hell on Wheels" 5 seasons on Netflix
@@("Hell on Wheels is an American/Canadian Western television series about the construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad across the United States, which broadcast in the United States and Canada on the cable channel AMC, from November 6, 2011[2] to July 23, 2016.")

@Copper I loved "Hell on Wheels."
It has just enough actual history mixed with enough fiction to make it compelling.
Sort of like "Vikings."
-
I'm most of the way through season 4.
There is some weirdness but I'll miss it when it is finished. I think the camp has gotten muddier every episode. I keep thinking I'm happy I can't smell the place.
It's easy to watch at night with some whiskey.
-
Me too. Hell On Wheels was soooo good. Right now watching Gran Torino.
-
The Good Wife.
Had no idea it was a lawyer show.

The Good Wife.

It got good reviews, IIRC.
Any good?
-
actually, it is.
Been binge watching. Just started season 3
-
I am introducing Karla and Lucas to The Jerk.
-
@LuFins-Dad Jump down turn around
-
@Copper We loved that show, too. Wish there were more like it.
-
Finishing up Comrade Detective. What a hoot!
Perhaps I’ll start on Bosch season six this afternoon.
-
Finished The Crown S3 last night. Thinking about Unorthdox. It's about a Hassidic woman who flees her arranged marriage in NY for Berlin and freedom.

Multiple episodes of 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown, and 8 out of 10 cats.
I think it's fair to say that they're a bit closer to the edge than most American games show.
They have had me crying with laughter on more than one occasion.
-
We're watching something called Fringe - and while the Mrs likes it, I'm not as enamored. FBI agent investigating odd happenings - perhaps a bit like X-Files. Was on for 5 years - J J Abrams developed.
-
@kluurs I really tried to like Fringe. Just couldn't get into it.
-
Fringe takes too many liberties with reality. The main biochemist scientist is unlikeable. Being married to a biochemist, I think that's why I'll be forced to watch the rest of the series.
-
Second season of "What We Do In Shadows".
-
Finishing up "Bosch" season 6 on Amazon Prime. Hope to finish it tomorrow.
Complex, interesting, and very well directed. Some irrelevant fluff, but not too much. Interesting and complex characters.
I love how there are multiple storylines that occur simultaneously, and over more than one season.
