Scholarships don’t work that way, young lady. You can accept the scholarship or not. If you accept, then the check is sent to the school, not for you to give away. If you turn it down, it doesn’t go to whoever you designate, it goes to the next applicant in line. Probably some wealthy white kid. Nice job.

She has a full ride at Harvard, but yeah…I awarded 7 scholarships this year. If someone turned one down the applicant doesn’t get to just give it to someone else.
I didn’t read that far. Yale? She may be better off taking the 40K and going to a Chico State.
