          Yeah. I think it was Schumann that said “Did Vivaldi compose 200 violin concerti? Or did he compose one violin concerto 200 times?”

                Not a lot of sleep. I for one feel terrible all day if I get less than 7 hours or so for multiple days.

                      Same has been said about Bruckner's symphonies.

                      Astor Piazzola has done a take on the 4 Seasons as well. It's very much Piazzola (whom I love), with only a few allusions to Vivaldi, but it's fun nevertheless. Here's the version for piano trio.

                      I saw Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg do this with the Madison Symphony about 12 years ago - she broke a string during her performance.
