Not to derail, but, isn't it amazing how Hyundai has transformed itself from a joke (Glengarry Glen Ross) to a major player? I looked at the G70 about a year ago. Nice car.
D3 is on her 3rd Hyundai. Her first saved her life, I'm convinced.
ETA: I never understood the appeal of pickup trucks for most of the population. I've never owned one, and have missed it, oh...never. If I need to haul something, I'll rent, and not have to deal with the hassle of an open bed. Yeah, I know, suburban geezer I am.

Suburban geezers need pickup trucks, too. We use my truck numerous times a year just to haul stuff to the brush dump or the landfill. Getting lumber or other building supplies is so much easier with the truck. Mulch! I buy it by the truck load from a sawmill in the area. With the bedliner, it's easy to sweep out the dirt and debris after hauling loose product or yard waste.
There's no rental nearby for equipment to haul stuff, and they wouldn't appreciate the dirt and debris that would be left behind.
The downside is that whenever a relative of hubby's is moving, we end up hauling their stuff because they don't want to have their own truck. My old truck has moved some of them multiple times.

My son sold his pickup after moving to Austin. Down here, even in Baton Rouge, there are a lot of pickups. In Austin, not near as many. Since most of the young people he knew had moved there like him, he was the only pickup in a sea of cars and small SUVs.
He couldn't stand the popularity.

Old trucks are like old dogs...They're family and you hate to see them go.
But lordy, I've bought and worn out two pickups since '91 and my third has 109,000 miles on it.
