Speaking of spending time on the important things in life

Sorry, I also meant to say I'm very glad kiddo is doing well.

Yeah, what he said.
By the way, Tylenol, in sufficient doses, is an amazing analgesic. It was pushed as an intravenous medication at 1 gm IV. Subsequent studies showed that the same dose orally is just as effective. Just don't take more than 4 gm per day - your liver will be unhappy. Very unhappy.
Good to hear that the road to recovery is there, and LOVE the froggos!
Thanks for sharing those pics.

Thanks, George!
I know I've been AWOL from TNCR of late. It's been very hectic here, with lots of times up in the night to help kiddo. Things are going much easier now. It's really wonderful seeing your kiddo healing, getting stronger, feeling better. Makes me want to cook and bake! LOTS!!

I don't want to pry and you're certainly welcome to tell me to MYOB, but did you ever say what procedure T-brenda was having?

No, I did not say. It's kind of personal, and it's not my story to tell. I'm glad it's not something that was an emergency or life-threatening, but it was plenty serious enough to have us come out here to stay for several weeks.
If there's good news about a surgery, it's that her recovery is going great, and the financial impact is almost nil. As a grad student here, the university provides health insurance. The deductible is crazy low, like $200 per year. Having surgery during grad school may seem like really bad timing, but it has worked out remarkably well financially for kiddo. They assume grad students won't need much healthcare, but in this case ... Yeah, those deductibles may get revised. LOL

We'll forgive you.
Once.
