I’d like to see the article that explains why going to 15% makes it easier for the US to go from 21 to 28%.

I get how this stops the race to the bottom but the only significant country under 15% is Ireland at 12.5 and the rise is only going to cost them 2B a year.

"Britain's finance minister Rishi Sunak, who chaired the meetings, called it "a proud moment" that would create a level playing field for companies around the world."

And this is a good thing why?

Only if it makes them money.

                It's not.

They think everyone is supposed to be exactly the same.

Everyone is not exactly the same.

So, as usual, the clever ones will deal with this in a clever way.

And it will not end up working the way the idiot politicians think it will work.

And the way they keep thinking it will work, over and over and over again.

Or, they know better, but their constituencies do not, and if they want to keep their seats, they do what the voters want. With predictable results.

Everyone is not exactly the same.

So, it's diversity except when it required sameness.

                    Got it.

I have no problem with 15%, I can’t figure out how that makes us going from 21 to 28% more palatable. Maybe it’s too early for that political analysis.
