I have this romantic notion of walking the streets of a town back then, but I am sure that the reality would be that the streets were dirty, dusty, stinky smelly, etc. (As an aside, a movie I liked by Woody Allen was called Midnight in Paris, "It's about a young man's great love for a city, Paris, and the illusion people have that a life different (and in an earlier time) from theirs would be much better." To the right is an entrance to Fenway that will bring you to 3rd base.
