A while ago, I asked about the so-called "air-fryers." As I learned, they are really nothing more than compact convection ovens.

My current (large) oven has a convection feature.

Gonna make (smashed) burgers tomorrow, with corn on the cob and fries.

Has anyone done frozen fries in a convection oven?

And....as long as we're on the subject, has anyone made a turkey in a convection oven?

I've done a turkey in a convection oven - does the deed quite quickly. Very decent.

French fries in the air fryer are great, but I've never used convection on the oven.

Yeah. Ore-Ida has very good crispy fast food type fries. Turn out really well.

We use our oven pretty much exclusively in convection mode. The frozen fries work fine.

          I was only joking
