    Article about the USPS’s iconic delivery trucks. LLV stands for “long life vehicle.” Originally designed to operate for 24 years, but many of them have gone way past that life span. First one was introduced in 1987. We are 34 years past 1987 and the new fleet with new design is still two years away.

        That’s helpful to know. I was looking at one the other day and was saying my god which Beltway bandit took the post office for a ride on that POS. If I could only have appreciated how durable they sound.
