This sounds like a guy trying to raise money. Otherwise we are in deep trouble.

Two opposing thoughts come to mind:
-
Sounds like definition creep.

I’d have guessed 1 in 3.

I’m pretty sure mental health issues are significantly more common than we have historically acknowledged.
1 in 10 doesn’t seem like enough

Insurance will not cover expanded mental health diagnoses except in the form of pills.
I agree with scope creep as part of it, the internet as a huge part of it and of course intersectional people convincing people they have an infirmity brought on by a sick society.
Buddha will tell you all you need to know about suffering and to be clear the objective is to eliminate needless suffering not all suffering. Suffering is a feature of life not a bug.

If earlier generations had the same criteria applied, would we have been given any better percentages? I doubt it. We might have had worse numbers, and probably did. Look at how we turned out. 🤪

Hear me out... Maybe, just maybe teaching our kids that over 50% of them are inherently evil because of their skin color isn’t a good idea?
Maybe teaching them that there are 37 genders may be confusing to them?
I’m amazed we can still breathe.

Not to worry, our culture actually teaches 100% of us that we are inherently inferior. It's just that the messaging takes different forms, depending on skin color.
