    Interesting idea. Still set in 1968, but about a black kid in Montgomery, Alabama. Fred Savage is one of the producers.

      Eh. The thing that made Wonder Years so special was its sweetness. It was tender and sweet without being saccharine or gooey. That will be difficult to duplicate -- and why would you even want to? Besides, the new show would just be too different. Much as I like Don Cheadle, they'd be better off doing a Wonder Years-type show and let people make comparisons to the original.
