As much as I like McConaughey, I just can't see it. I don't think Abbot is that damaged from the freeze.

I've never met the guy. SIL and her husband know him enough to say hello. They say he does have the star "it factor", but is very approachable and down to earth.
That's not gonna get him elected, though...
