    They tested 1000 cops and 1000 FD/EMS for covid antibodies.

    FD/EMS 17% positive
    NYPD 11%

    That is substantially lower than the general population antibody results.

    Seems counterintuitive.

    1 possibility - that’s indicative of how much general population test results are skewed by selection bias.

    2nd possibility - first responders masks and gloves did a good job protecting them and they really are half as likely to have been exposed.

    (or some combination)
