      Not gonna happen. He had too much Trump baggage which will turn off a bunch of people. And by "baggage," I'm talking about personality, bluster, etc. He's never done it, afaik, but he's guilty by association.

      DeSantis is going to be formidable, if people can remember Florida four years hence, of course.

            I agree. Too close to President Trump for the people who do not like President Trump. Too far away from President Trump for the people that like President Trump.

                Looking at previous Vice-Presidents, the last one to win a presidential election was Bush (the Elder).

                Nixon and Biden won as well, but not coming out of their role as VEEP.
