Kinda reminds me of what YouTube used to be...

Interesting video to watch. Not sure I would go out of my way to visit however. I have seen enough foreign"backside" towns.

Thought her English was extremely good. Wonder where she learned to speak the language that well?

I find this other video of her's more interesting. In this one she compares Russian mannerisms to Americans mannerisms, drawing from her experiences as an exchange student in the USA. She only returned to Russia in March of 2020, right most of the world locks down travel due to COVID-19.

Hey @brenda, she references her experiences in U. of Minnesota rather extensively.

I'm a little surprised her home town doesn't look a bit more oriental. It's pretty much spitting distance from the Chinese border...

Looks like any small Russian city I have ever seen. What I noticed is different is that it is more colourful and kept than what it would have been even twenty years ago. I also noted that that cinema had a wheelchair access ramp. That sort of public accomodation was unheard of not all that long ago.

              Elbows up!

There's a lot of incredibly good stuff on YouTube. You just gotta self-curate these days is all.

Saved this one to my watch later list!

                Please love yourself.

Yeah, but with all the stuff rolling in, it becomes harder and harder to find...
