The article talks about $45B in rental assistance funds. First I have heard about anything like that making landlords more whole and keeping folks in their homes.

I have a friend who has four single family rental units. Three out of four are behind on their rent. Either they pay up soon or move out where she can establish some positive cash flow, or the renters will soon be paying the bank, not her.

That brings up something else...In her case, she pays the water, sewage and garbage bills. What happens if she goes under and the bank forecloses?
