        I'm all for it.

Mail-in ballots are ripe for fraud.

@jolly I'm waiting for the arguments against this.

I’d say make ALL ballots have the same security features, be it watermarks or micro printing or whatever. If you’re going to do it for mail-in ballots, you might as well also do it for all ballots.

For those who support watermarking mail-in ballots, might you have any objection to also watermark in-person ballots?

Good. Make it like money. And counterfeit ballots carry a long prison sentence.

                Good idea.

Watermark everything if necessary but I think the provenance of mail in ballots is the issue that doesn’t exist with in person.

Feels like a distraction and sabotage of the thought to add that requirement.

Think about it. Logistically, it would be easier to manage one type of ballots than two types of ballots. Easier to manage the printing and distribution of one type of ballots rather than two different types of ballots. You train all the volunteers and poll workers to deal with one type of ballots rather than two types of ballots. You can program the ballot scanning machines to scan for a uniform set of security features rather than program them differently depending on whether a machine will be assigned to scanning one type of ballots vs. another type of ballots.

If you‘re going to add security features to the ballots themselves, making those security features uniform across all ballots is actually a simplifying move compared to selectively adding security features to one type of ballots but not others.

Then when the democrats want to commit vote fraud they only have one type to steal.
