Had more fun last night, than I've had in months. I guess enough folks have been vaccinated or have had COVID, coupled with a pretty low local infection rate, that the local Free Methodist church decided to hold a Friday night singing.

Now folks, this is one of those little country churches where people can sing. and they had help, as I saw people singing from multiple small churches there. Instruments or no instruments, congregational pure four part harmony. Several soloists, duets, trios, with accompanying music ranging from canned CD, to piano and/or guitars, to a full bluegrass band.

I had almost forgot how good an old-fashioned gospel singing could be.

Sounds like fun. I always liked being in the choir. Caroling was fun too.
