Google up why you burn a cane field.

You go Google up alternatives to burning a cane field.

    I know.

Without the internet and google-fu, you don't even know what a stalk of cane looks like.

      Nope.

Now, tell me about your cane field experiences.

It was nearly a unanimous decision, how do you complain about that? That’s what I want to know.

No you don’t get it. Nearly everyone voted FOR the bill. All the dems who are going to ruin the climate and disproportionately hurt people of color. Bad dems.

Son, I know why farmers burn cane fields. I picked up my cane knife yesterday and used it by the dog pen. My nephew is marrying a young lady, whose family grows about 3000 acres of it. Grandpa made his own syrup from his cane patch.

I know a smidgen about propagating, planting, harvesting and processing cane. and I understand why legislators on both sides of the aisle would vote to protect a thriving local agricultural business, especially when almost nobody locally is complaining about it. Ax doesn't know anything, but what he reads on a biased internet site.

Now, for trivia bragging rights, what country music star was from Pahokee?

We get that stuff here. A nursery that has been here since before I was born is now getting sued by suburbanites who bought nearby homes for the dust, etc. Ridiculous. The new residents' lack of due diligence in selecting a home s no reason this business should be negatively affected.

I suspect we will see a lot more silliness, as citidiots move to the rural route and try to impose their "enlightened" ways upon the locals.

There was a long Facebook thread from people I went to school with about townies moving into nice little country cottages near a pig farm.

Apparently there were a lot of complaints about the awful smell, but eventually the farmers said that if the pigs didn't mind, they guessed they could learn to live with their new neighbours.

                    I was only joking

A cop in London stops a Pakistani leading a cow down the street. He asks "What are you doing with a cow in the middle of town?"

The Pakistani says, "I am taking it home to keep it in my house."

The copper asks, "What about all the flies, the shit and the stink?"

The Pakistani thinks a moment and replies, "The cow will just have to get used to it."

To side topic this a bit, burning of fields can be a problem. Alot of farmers in SE Asia do Slash/burn to the fields, and it causes MAJOR air problems. A couple of years ago, Singapore had to shut the airport and the air pollution was super super high because of burning of fields in Indonesia. Pictures at the time looked like the forest fire pictures from California.

(I understand why they do it, but it is still can be a bit problem)
