No. I have an LG but I have no clue what's good or bad

But I'd consider even bigger sizes. The 34.5 inch was smaller than I expected. It's not much more screen real estate than the 27 inch; it's just better usable because of the 21:9 aspect ratio.

I no longer like 60Hz monitors. Even 75 is not that great. 120 is way better on my eyes. And 240 is just like butter, especially for racing and other gaming pursuits.

I went window-shopping with my son a couple of years back, and they had this $3000 monitor on display. I'd never understood until then why anybody would spend so much on one, but I did after being told to clean up all the drool.

        I was only joking

WTF ever. You have to factor in the Windows bullshit coefficient, which is about .68.

These days it's not uncommon for me to have Adobe AE, Premiere, and Media Encoder, all open with projects at once. My Surface would start to smell like burning plastic if I had tried that.

            Please love yourself.

That is not the fault of the OS.

Only happens on Windows machines for me, never Macs. So, gonna stick with the latter.

Interesting, indeed, but I guess if one wants to use that thing, one needs to buy the right monitor. I think most monitors won't work with it because something is in the way (including the one I bought).

If it's VESA compatible, it should work, shouldn't it? Unless the ports are that close to where the VESA plate would go.

No. The main problem is that most monitors look like this on the back.

Also be careful with weight distribution ... an additional Mac mini attached to the back of a monitor just might tip it over backwards without additional support. An interesting concept nonetheless. Good luck!

I guess in particular you can rule out all monitors with adjustable height.
