Phibes doesn’t find it as funny?
I'm completely baffled. It's rare that I turn something off after just 10 minutes. People, all the time, but generally not shows.

I watched about 10 minutes of the first one last night, and I couldn't bloody stand any more of it.
What's wrong with you people?
Did you get to the “Get In Here” “GET IN HERE!” “No, Get Out... No, come back!” “COME BACK!” “Noooo! Get out! Get Back here!”
That was a good bit, was it?

Sounds like Chris Kattan's Mango character.

@doctor-phibes I stopped after the first bit, thought it was stupid, then tried it again. And started laughing. Some of the gags go on too long, but some of them really are funny. The third one (?) - about the jury - the trial part was stupid, but the flashbacks to the house (and the screwups by the scenery people) had me laughing out loud.
-
@lufins-dad I watched 90 degrees last night. Parts of it were dumb, but parts were so hilarious! How do they think up this stuff! (And how do those people NOT kill themselves when they do those stunts?!!) I was sure somebody was going to get knocked out for real with a plate.

See that part didn’t make me laugh so much, but the recurring popping balloon did. Even though I knew it was coming.
And the staircase scene in the Hitler one.

That was one of the gags that was cute, but it ran on too much, but then it kept going...and going. That’s what I found hilarious. That they had run the joke into the ground so badly and just knowingly kept it going.
The dog in 90 Degrees had Lucas cracking up, which had me laughing in turn. But what had me going was the fact that they really did it. You could tell by the faces. I found that fantastic. I also loved the looks of horror on their faces when they knew they would have to move.

@jodi We finished the season last night. The Christmas special was pretty stupid, but then it hit one scene with the snowman and the gift machine that had me practically hyperventilating I was laughing so hard! Thank you for recommending this show!

Glad you guys like it - I need to turn it back on. I got sucked into something called shadow and bone - a YA trilogy - and actually it’s pretty good. (If you liked movies like hunger games and divergent and Harry Potter). Binged it and now hoping there will be another season.
-
I've been watching Shadow and Bone with Mrs. Doctor Phibes. Very confusing to begin with, but I'm getting the hang of it.
-
@lufins-dad I tried Locke and key, but then I got tired of it (and then I read what happens and decided I didn’t want to watch it any more )
Shadow and bone is pretty confusing - lots of stories going on at once.
