Regardless of biblical mythologies, the US is no more the New Israel than Russia is the third Rome

Are you aware of all the prophecy in Daniel that has not been fulfilled?

Writing prophesy that isn't fulfilled doesn't seem like a particularly useful skill.

Seems that it may not be prophesy at all then. Fiction perhaps?

                  Prophecy.

Some has been fulfilled, some is coming.

Mythology. Some of it historical the rest, what ancient legends and moral fables are made of.

I guess we'll both find out on Judgement Day, shall we not?

Mythology. Some of it historical but the rest is what makes up ancient legends and moral fables. Useful lessons indeed but at the end of the day still, folklore.

That would also include, this Judgement Day you reference.

Lots of people have said the world will end.

As long as they don't go into too much detail regarding timing, they'll eventually be proved correct.

I seem to think Daniels time-scales may have been shown to be a bit off.
