Oh man, and I need to go to the city! But wait - how early will you get here? I could do something early, even if it’s coffee. I don’t leave for the city until about noon.

@jon-nyc I am getting to the NY metro area around noon, hopefully. I’m still not sure if I am meeting this client at his home in Westchester or in Greenwich Village. I am really hoping Westchester as I am not fond of the idea of driving into the city...

Noon seems pretty aspirational if you haven’t left yet.

Probably will miss you but text me when you know what’s going on. You still have my number? Starts with 646. If not I’ll pm it.

@jon-nyc already on the road. Just stopped for a quick bite in Baltimore. I’ll send you a note after I finish up with the customer. The guy has been driving me nuts.

                  Hooters plural, not possessive.

So are the people in NY assholes because of the horrible traffic, or is the traffic horrible because the people are assholes?

If I knew someone crazy enough to drive in that traffic I'd ask them.

My car is in the shop so I am in a rental. I don’t particularly care if people hit it... And these people are worse. Far worse. I got stuck on the GWB for an hour because an accident cut it from 4 lanes to 3. Then a merging accident 100 ft in front caused another merging area, which caused another merging accident 50 ft before that. Which caused another accident...

Oh, and after that, the car next to me got pissed on by a homeless guy on an overpass.

I grew u learning to drive in nyc , starting with drivers Ed in high school.

Knew every pothole on the FDR by heart, from the Brooklyn bridge up to Washington heights.

My big joy of life was flying up or down the long one way avenues, say, third, or Madison, and hitting all the lights for twenty or more blocks. Not possible on Park because it’s two way, so u eventually hit a light. Big concern in picking routes.

Nowadays I guess it’s all waze.
