Yesterday... Xfinity came in and installed. I'm dropping off our Verizon equipment this afternoon. We dropped our plan down to the 200mbps, bought our own modem/router and are saving over $130 per month... Though the savings will go down once we add on a streaming service or two. We already had Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney +. I also had a subscription for HBO through Amazon and last night I was pleasantly surprised to discover that channel gave us access to HBO Max for no additional charge. I was originally planning on alternating between HBO Max and Netflix. Now I might alternate between Netflix and Hulu. Still it won't mean an increase...

We will probably add on the Discovery + service and maybe one more for kids shows, though Amazon has a good number already covered. Any other services we should consider?

The new ATT service that is internet based and doesn’t rely on a dish is worth checking out for other core cutters. The deal they are offering has a great price point.

No, TV is bad for you. Read books instead. 😛

I have cut the TV cord and I have fewer subscriptions than you have, and still I find that I never watch anything from my Apple TV+ subscription. I got Apple TV subscription only because Apple threw in a free year of subscription for buying some Apple hardware last year; I doubt I would renew it after the “free year” is up. Similarly I have a “free year” of Disney+ tossed in by my Internet service provider, that I find myself watching it less and less. Though I am still not sure whether I want to let it go when the “free year” is up.

I’ve been through this journey a bit.

I keep my service options very tight: (HBO - my fave, Netflix (will turn this down soon), Disney+, Amazon)

Hulu is sometimes in the mix.

Cuts down on the time aimlessly scrolling.

You Tube TV is about the same price as ATT, I didn't look at all the features, they look about the same

I was just about to cut Netflix, then my wife and I found a show that we liked watching together. I think if I dig around, I'll find a few more.

The Paramount service looks like it will cover ALOT of stuff...

The most frustrating part is having to switch providers. I am sick of this whole thing where you sign up for a one year contract at $40, then at the end of the contract your price is $90, unless you threaten to leave, then the price is $75. In the meantime, new clients get $40. No loyalty to pre-existing customers, it's all about getting them to switch. So if that's the game, then that's the game. See you in 24 months, Verizon...
