Tom Brady absolutely crushed the souls of every Montreal baseball fan on April Fool’s Day.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady continues to own the other team that drafted him.
Long before Brady was a seven-time Super Bowl champion, he was a 18th-round pick by the Montreal Expos out of high school. Though the 1994 MLB strike was a death sentence to Montreal baseball, Brady deciding to take his talents to Ann Arbor was the nail in the coffin. Here he is proclaiming to be the first player/coach/owner in MLB history by bringing back the Expos in 2022.
"With opening day today, excited to announce we’re bringing the Expos back to the MLB in 2022. Excited to be the first player/coach/owner in MLB history."
