The problem with refusing vaccination is that it's not just you that you're putting at risk. They've banned smoking in most public places to avoid the dangers of passive smoking. There should be consequences for refusing vaccination, unless there's a genuine reason for doing so.

You’re wrong. Every single vaccine on the market is showing 100% effectiveness against serious cases and death. 100%. You are putting nobody else at risk except yourself and others choosing to accept that same risk. Period.
Beyond that, if the goal is to get needles in the arm, threats aren’t going to work. You will actually have fewer people get vaccinated that way.

I don’t have the time to answer this in depth. All I will say is that if you want to get needles in arms, making it mandatory will not work. I’m surprised we’re still having this conversation after the whole masking debate. Yes, masks help. No, mask mandates do not help... The more you push mandatory vaccinations, the harder theee people will resist.

I have to agree. Hopefully the resistance will fade over time as it may well become a social pressure thing. But trying to force it will not help. Mandate it where it is necessary like schools and healthcare facilities, but not a broad every citizen mandate.

Resistance is definitely fading. The surveys show it. It’s time however for those who actively resist it to see what their life will look like. Of course there will be exceptions and of course people will game the exceptions, no need to obsess on the edge conditions as this just filibustering.
My take is if you feel so strongly on your principles then be willing to pay the 1000 times the cost for treatment as well as restricted movement in society.
I am not willing to pay higher taxes because of the resistors.

The percentage of people actually at risk for that must be measured several places right of the decimal point.
Off the top of my head I'd guess about a million times less likely than getting hit by lightning.

Because they feel that it is their choice on whether to be vaccinated or not. Most will be, some won't. Some will have had COVID and feel they now have natural immunity.
But all will agree that man cannot live in fear. If God decides your time is up, be prepared, because your time is up.
