Miss Doolittle has a wonderful, God-given talent, mentioned only in Shaw's original play, Pygmalion. I don't know why they haven't included it in other adaptations.

The professor attributed it to a superior ear for music, since she could not play the piano when she first arrived and never learned how to read music, but could eventually play anything she had heard. It astonished him she could go to a concert and be able to pick out, and eventually play well, the music of the evening.
