I don't listen to any of them, so I honestly don't know. My objection is that you state an opinion using inherently subjective terms as though it's a fact.
'Smarter' - ok, you can probably test that, although that's debatable. 'More interesting' - that's not an objective measure. I don't find him interesting, which is why I don't watch him.
'Conservatives tend to think that Tucker Carlson is smarter and more interesting than a bunch of people they don't agree with' is closer to the mark.

Ok. You are right. My statement included more interesting and that is very debatable. I only really watched him when cross fire was a show and I have seen him speak live (he was one of many at a non political conference.

All lifetime left-leaning folks are hesitant to admit to an overall political bent to our cultural messaging. I've generalized it to 'pop culture' rather than 'MSM', because 'pop culture' gets more to the heart of the issue.

If you like listening to talking heads on TV who reinforce and confirm what you already believe, I'm sure Tucker's great. I've never understood the appeal of these shows, left or right.
I can't even watch the evening entertainment shows any more over here. You guys are fucking obsessed with politics. It's all they talk about. They even bring over British "comedians" to go on about it now, presumably with the idea that James Corden and John Oliver sound more sophisticated. A Brummie!
